For United Front in Luneta!

We raise our voices in protest: Sobra Na! Tama Na! Wakasan Na! It is time we swept the country clean of the self-serving bourgeois cliques and pro-U.S. politicians. There needs to be a socialist alternative to the Marcos/Duterte oligarchs!

We welcome the National Democrats of BAYAN and the Partido Lakas ng Masa call for Marcos/Duterte to resign and be replaced by a People’s Transitional Council. The question is: How to make this happen! We can’t wait around for the NatDem/PLM leaders who are giving no answer on what to do. To start with, we propose:

• Magkaisang Hanay/United Front! Make Bonifacio Day a show of strength! The left and workers movement must rally together in Luneta to demand the replacement of Marcos/Duterte with a People’s Transitional Council. End the sectarianism where every group rallies separately.

• Keep the liberals out of the People’s Transitional Council! Everyone knows the liberals are shielding Marcos. We can’t let NatDem and PLM leaders like Rep. Antonio Tinio and Atty. Luke Espiritu sell out the masses to get into the good graces of the liberals. Capitulating to the liberals led to defeat of the revolutionary upsurge sparked by the EDSA February 1986 Popular Uprising.

• Push back the reactionaries! The way to win popular support is to be strong and bold. The more popular support we can gain, the more difficult it will be for the forces of reaction to move against us.

Kumilos tayo! Build the Bonifacio Day rally at Luneta. Unite and fight to make the People’s Transitional Council a reality!
