Though the left has now called for the resignation of Marcos Jr and Sara Duterte and is raising the slogan for “transitional peoples’ councils”, they are hoping to build these in an alliance with the liberals and military generals. We discuss the dynamics on the ground and what all socialists on the ground should fight for in the lead up to Bonafacio Day: for a break with the liberals and military generals!
