Justice for Saniyah Cheatham!

On July 5, Saniyah Cheatham was found dead in her jail cell. The cops claim that she killed herself. Everyone knows this is bullshit. Remember Sandra Bland, who also “committed suicide” in jail. And on August 8, Deborah McCalla Terrell, a 68-year-old grandmother in New Brunswick, New Jersey, was executed by the cops in the hallway of her senior citizen home. This racist cop terror against black women is intolerable, and something must be done now.

Open Police Archives (OPA) activists joined an August 6 protest at the Bronx’s 41st Precinct where Saniyah was found dead. The protest demanded release of the autopsy report, surveillance and body-cam video and the log and names of cops on duty. The disgusting crimes of the capitalists’ guard dogs must be exposed to all.

The struggle against cop terror desperately needs to be rebuilt—rebuilt in complete opposition to “progressive” politicians who have ditched even tepid talk against the cops and gone on to lick their boots.
