On July 5, 18-year old Saniyah Cheatham was found dead in her jail cell at the NYPD's 41st Precinct in the Bronx. The cops claim she killed herself, but everyone knows that's bullshit. This is Sandra Bland all over again.
An NYPD force investigation is underway, but the agents of the capitalist state will not expose the depth and magnitude of their own crimes. They are covering it up. Their story keeps changing, and they say she hung herself with a sweater even though she was wearing a jersey at the time of her arrest.
We demand all information about her arrest, her death, and the precinct be open to public scrutiny!
