We recently published an article titled “The Fight Against Modi: What Next?” in Spartacist, our theoretical journal. The central point of our article is that the struggle against Modi is paralysed by the popular front, that is, by the alliance of the left parties with the Congress under the INDIA bloc. The answer to Modi and Hindutva is not to turn to the Congress, which represents the more liberal wing of the Indian ruling class, but to base it in opposition to the entire rule of this class.
