No vote for Greens!

Many people are considering voting Green as a protest against Labour. The Green Party is a liberal middle-class outfit that supports NATO, the EU and more taxes on working people in the name of fighting climate change (like ULEZ, which they think does not go far enough). Like the Lib Dems, the Greens are against the interests of the workers movement.

This underlines why the opposition to Starmer must be based on the working class. The Greens will have no problem concluding alliances with Starmer to send more weapons to Ukraine, increase contributions to NATO and raise taxes on working people in exchange for token “green” measures. In Germany, the Greens are part of the government, and they are the most hysterical warmongers of all. Relying on the Greens to defend workers (or to fight climate change, for that matter) is suicidal because they support the very system which produces people like Starmer (and which is destroying the planet).
