Over the past few months, millions have expressed outrage at the Israeli slaughter of Palestinians and hundreds of thousands have taken to the streets all over the U.S. to denounce “Genocide Joe.” Horrified by the genocide, they desperately want the bombs to stop. But the protests have had no discernible impact, and the situation for the Palestinians has only gotten worse. The question is: why?
