Drop All Charges Against Stanford 11!

The Partisan Defense Committee demands that your office drop all of the charges leveled against the Stanford University pro-Palestinian protesters for their occupation of the President’s Office building in June 2024. The defendants face up to three years in prison, a permanent felony record, and $329,000 in restitution to Stanford for alleged property damage. On May 7, the Santa Clara County Superior Court judge ordered the recusal of District Attorney Jeff Rosen and his entire office from retrying their case because of his blatant pro-Zionist sympathies. This ruling underscores what the defendants and their supporters have said all along: the prosecution is politically motivated and was intended to chill the right of anyone on campus to protest administration or government policy.
